20多家采石场撕裂了一座座山，昔日的青山绿水遍体鳞伤。曾经享受这边绿的当地老百姓，如今却呼吸不到清新的空气，出行更是“雨天一身泥，晴天一身灰”。

无奈，采石场每年为当地财政贡献达到六成以上收入。因此，青山的呼救声，显得很微弱。

市规划局不久前表示，四山管制区的控规编制，第一批在2008年3月30日前，完成对一般控建区和重点控建区试点区的控规编制。玉峰山已纳入重点控建区试点区之内。
